Introducing our new Twyford office
Following the long-awaited and slightly overdue recent opening of TfL’s Crossrail ‘Elizabeth’ line, of which Twyford is an integral part. When fully open will connect Reading, Twyford and Heathrow in the west, through central London via Paddington, to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the East. Officially named the Elizabeth Line in honour of the Queen and will serve 41 stations.
With the new high-speed rail link having been planned for many years, we have for some time been looking to grow our business to the East of Reading and have been carefully looking for the right location.
Today’s announcement is the culmination of many months of searching and planning, and I’m delighted to confirm the new Village Properties office location in the village of Twyford, located on High Street, in the heart of Twyford at the junction of Church Street.

Our new Twyford office is headed up by both local Twyford Directors Vincent New and our valuer James Fletcher, as well as myself. We are also supported by Financial Services partner Money Guardian.
Our business strategy has and will continue to be based on our strongly held belief that moving home should be as stress-free as possible. The unique style of services we offer are firmly aimed at ensuring a successful and smooth moving process.
Experience and customer service
Over the years we’ve experienced first-hand the hurdles of the property buying and selling process, so an integral part of our service is to offer help at every stage, from help understanding the legal process, help completing those legal-speak documents, financial health checks and mortgage advice via our in house Financial Services partner Money Guardians.
We even open on Sundays by appointment to help people that have limited time to deal with all that’s required during a house move. We are here to help!
The VP Prive service
We offer our ‘VP Prive’ service for the vendor who wants a more discreet experience and our exciting ‘VP Exclusive’ package for our customers at the higher end of the market. These Estate Agency services are bespoke and individually tailored to each client.
Some of our clients prefer to keep the sale of their home out of the limelight, so opt for an ‘Off Market Sales’ approach. These under the radar sales are becoming more popular in the current very buoyant sellers’ market, where we are often inundated with multiple buyers for each property.
An Off Market property Sale doesn’t appear on websites, there’s no for sale board outside the property, buyers are carefully selected from our extensive database of buyers and telephoned with the details of the property. Discreet viewing appointments are then made and often the right buyer is found from this process.
